The inaugural edition of Integrate Middle East is set to attract the world’s audiovisual and media technology professionals to the emirate of Dubai. Integrate Middle East 2023 is predicted to bring in over 7,000 professional visitors when it takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre from May 16 to 18,2023. These will include integrators, pro AV consultants and decision makers from application industries ranging from education technology buyers to smart home architects and design consultants to real estate developers, hospitality service providers, retail groups, and enterprise solution buyers.

Indonesia’s Presidential Negara Palace Upgrades to Powerful, Clear d&b audiotechnik Solution

The beautiful Negara Palace in central Jakarta has upgraded its decades-old loudspeaker system, opting for a complete d&b audiotechnik solution comprising a series of 24C column loudspeakers to provide clear and powerful sound from a non-imposing cabinet. Jakarta-based audio specialist ProMedia Innovative Solution took responsibility for the configuration and installation.

Jakarta’s Graha Bakti Budaya Theatre Revitalised with L-Acoustics L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound

The Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) arts and cultural hub in Cikini, Central Jakarta, was inaugurated in 1968. Named after a nationally renowned music composer, the hub is managed by the Jakarta Arts Council. Within the TIM complex is the the 954-seat Graha Bakti Budaya theatre. The stately venue hosts performances weekly, from original Indonesian artistic performances to concerts, dramas, traditional and contemporary dance, and film screenings. TIM and the Graha Bakti Budaya Theatre recently finished a US$125 million revitalisation programme, including an L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound upgrade, making it the first-ever venue in Southeast Asia to be installed with the technology.

AV-ICN’s Certified AV Specialist Course (CAVS) Galvanizing the AV Industry in Gujarat

CAVS- Certified AV Specialist education course on AV systems, standards and protocols successfully conducted its first two editions at the AV-ICN expo in Mumbai in 2019 and 2022. Narendra Naidu, chairman & managing director at Rhino Engineers Pvt Ltd, renowned for “Statue of Unity” audiovisual, visited the CAVS classroom and studied the curriculum. Naidu proposed to conduct the third edition of CAVS in Ahmedabad. The third CAVS will take place at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), Ahmedabad, from 1st March, 2023 to 3rd March, 2023.

BrightSign Media Players Enable World First Kinetic Digital Experience

Technology from BrightSign, LLC, a global market leader in digital signage media players, has been used to power a continuously rotating 4m2 digital glass cube at Pixoul Gaming, a new state of the art virtual reality (VR) and Esports hub in Abu Dhabi. The impressive structure, which was created by Dubai based digital media studio and systems integrator DigiComm, is believed to be a world first because of its size, weight and kinetics. It incorporates 38 BrightSign XD234 media players powering synchronised content across 123 55” and 49” LG display units.

Formosa Television Ushers in the New Year with Analog Way’s Aquilon RS4 at Gala Kaohsiung Concert

Formosa Television covered the spectacular New Year’s Eve 2022 concert and celebration in Kaohsiung, Taiwan with support from Analog Way’s Aquilon RS4 4K/8K multi-screen presentation system and the RC400T event controller. Kaohsiung City Government sponsored the event at Dream Mall. The venue featured a double-sided performance stage, each side with a different theme, which hosted an array of artists plus a gala midnight fireworks display.

Lighthouse Technologies Expands Partnership in Southeast Asia with AVITCOM, AVLS and ZODIAC

Late last year Lighthouse Technologies announced it partnership arrangement with Hitecindo Kharisma (M) Sdn. Bhd for Malaysia. The company has quickly followed it up with more partnership announcements. These include AVITCOM in SIngapore, AVLS in the Philippines and Zodiac in Vietnam.
